This summer has definitely proved to be a busy wedding photography season, but that hasn’t changed my love for newborn photography. In fact, behind the scenes, I have been working hard to improve my newborn skills and safety. I’ve invested a lot of time and money to ensure that I am providing a quality service to my clients/parents. That’s why I made it a priority to better myself and get one on one mentoring with one of the top newborn photographers in the country, Amy Cook Photography based in Ohio.
We turned my kitchen into a studio for the day and this sweet little angel, her momma and auntie came and hung out for the day. Being super cautious and a mom myself, there were a few poses that I would not offer my clients before. Amy provided invaluable instruction to ensure that my newborn clients are kept safe and subtle tips on improving my current techniques, and I’m over the moon on how gorgeous this session turned out!
This is the same face I make when I’m out of coffee creamer. 🙂
