When I asked Dan and Danielle how they met, they both instantly starting laughing. When you’re a professional and many of your friends are married, it’s not uncommon to meet people through online dating. However, these two had no idea Tinder wasn’t exactly for making “long term connections”. Luckily for them, both were searching for their soul mate and a love that would last forever. What started out as a coffee date in Annapolis, Maryland turned into a coffee, movie AND lunch date and practically lasted the entire day. The conversation flowed, and it was as if they had known each other for years.
Then one night, with the help of a friend, Dan proposed to Danielle during at a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball game. Of course she said “yes” and now they are planning their wedding at one of my favorite wedding venues, Flora Corner Farm in Mechanicsville, Maryland.
To document their engagement and Southern Maryland wedding, we met for a sunset session in St. Mary’s County. With one rainy day after another, they decided to take their chances and we raced against the quickly fading sunset and cloudy skies, but none of that mattered to these two. They had no problems cuddling and kissing during their engagement session, and soon we found ourselves photographing in complete darkness and rain.
Their May 2017 wedding can’t come soon enough. With plans of blush and mint wedding details, I’m so excited to see these two marry at Flora Corner Farm.
