I wasn’t sure how I could tell the story of Katrina and Tyler. Without oversharing or getting too personal, how could I really tell the story of these two finding their way back to each other through friendship and later so much more? So, I started looking up the word, “soulmate” and every single quote, every definition, just made sense. There’s just no better way to describe how their relationship went from being friends and dating, to a feeling that the other person was brought into this world just for them.
“A soulmate isn’t someone who completes you. No, a soulmate is someone who inspires you to complete yourself. A soulmate is someone who loves you with so much conviction, and so much heart, that is is nearly impossible to doubt just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you have always wanted to be.” – b.s.
That is Katrina and Tyler. Soulmates.
It was at the top of The Capital Wheel when Katrina said “yes” to becoming Tyler’s wife. So, the National Harbor was the perfect choice for their engagement session.
I consider myself incredibly lucky to have known Katrina since she was a baby, and become this beautiful, intelligent and fearless woman. In Tyler, she’s found a kind, thoughtful man that balances her and easily has more shoes than her. 🙂
Katrina and Tyler – thank you for trusting me to capture your love story. I cannot wait to see you both married at Swan Point Yacht and Country Club next May!
