For engagement/portrait sessions, I am typically booked 3-4 months in advanced. For wedding clients, we should chat as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed. Weddings are typically booked 12-18 months in advanced.
Each wedding collection includes a complimentary engagement session, 6+ hours of wedding day coverage, professional editing, an online gallery, and a custom USB of all edited images with print release.
The engagement sessions are complimentary (no charge) to give us the chance to work together before your big day. I truly believe this is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better and for you both to become comfortable in front of the camera. For your engagement session, it's just the two of you while on your wedding day, we will be creating these romantic, fun and stunning images (perhaps with 150 pairs of eyes on you). This "practice" shoot definitely helps remove some of that pressure from not knowing what to expect. It's not required, but opting out of it will not change the collection costs.
Most of my collections include a second photographer. Having two photographers allows for more than one perspective (ex. Walking down the aisle) and capturing the reactions of your family and friends as they watch you say, “I do”.

Yes! I am based in Maryland and frequently travel to Washington, DC and Virginia. However, I am passport ready, and for select destinations will waive the travel costs. Please email me to discuss your destination wedding.
I take the responsibility of capturing these once in a lifetime memories very serious. Not only do I carry backup equipment, but I shoot with a camera that has dual card slots. So, your images are saved on TWO memory cards. All images are then transferred to an external hard drive for safe keeping while your images are being edited. My business is insured and can provide a copy of that binder should your venue require it.
Contact me to confirm if your date is available and to schedule a time to grab a cup of coffee or chat over the phone. This consult is like our first date where we get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. To officially book your date, a signed contract and $1000 booking fee are required. The remaining balance is split into 2 equal payments due 3 months and 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.
We will discuss your style, personality and the activities you and your loved one(s) like to do together. From there, I will provide a list of locations that fit you best in the requested setting type (i.e., rustic, beach, urban, lifestyle), or I am happy to try out a new location that is especially meaningful to you.
I shoot for quality not quantity. So, while I do not have a minimum number of images provided, a typical wedding gallery averages 50-70 images per hour of coverage. Portrait galleries typically have 30+ images.
For portrait sessions, you will receive your gallery in 2 weeks. For weddings, the standard turnaround time is 8 weeks.
I am partnered with a professional lab to offer my clients the convenience of ordering prints, wall art, custom save the dates, heirloom albums, etc. all from the comfort of your own home. My monitor is calibrated to match their printing to ensure your images are sharp and colors are accurate. All prints and albums have a UV coating to protect your memories from fingerprints, dust and fading. However, should you wish, you may print your images at any lab you choose.
