A Very Humble Thank You – Personal Post

As we sat in my car, I blurted out,  “I can’t believe this is my life”.  It’s true.  I can remember the exact moment I told Justin I wanted to get back into photography, but I still can’t believe my dream is a reality. I think I sat there waiting for Erin to pinch me and wake up, but instead it was time for us to photograph an awesome couple’s wedding.

I don’t know why it was always engrained in my head that the perfect career would be a Monday thru Friday, steady paycheck kind of gig. I will very humbly admit that it sure is the safest bet when you’re raising a family, but the fire and spark ignite in me when I’m behind my camera.

So, for all you that spared your time while I tested locations, practiced my camera settings, lighting or posing my first year, thank you. For all of those same people who’ve now become paying clients and believe in me and my work, thank you. And to that awesome bride and groom that said I’m worth double what they paid, HOLLA….I mean, THANK YOU! 🙂 I won’t be charging that much anytime soon, but it sure does feel validating to know others find value in my photography.

Call me crazy but capturing the moments in life, that will be spoken of for generations to come, is a pretty awesome gig. Thank you all for the continued support, love and referrals.

*Of course, I can’t forget my baby’s daddy who’s holding down the fort while I’m working too. He’s pretty amazing. Xoxo  I love you, Hubby!

Sarah and James – Congratulations again!  It was so surreal to watch you tie the knot.  I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
